Message From The East
Greetings Brethren:
As incoming Worshipful Master, I would like to thank everyone who has mentored and supported me, and to welcome all the new Brothers. I would like to see St. John's keep the enthusiasm and growth we have experienced the last two years continuing. I believe we have an excellent opportunity for the newer members to become active.
I will try to plan some more activities outside the Lodge and will do my best to make this an exciting year for St. John's Lodge. I would like this opportunity to mention some of my changes and ideas:
· A $10.00 donation will be made to the charity fund every time a cell phone rings during a meeting. PLEASE TURN YOUR PHONES ON SILENT OR VIBRATE.
· From a suggestion from a few of the Past Masters, we will start handing out "Proficiency" awards to the members who participate in the degree ritual.
· To our new members: get involved with the degree work.
· I would like to continue the charity work such as the motorcycle run and St. John's Hospice meal service.
It was great seeing everyone at the Holiday party. We will be planning something for the spring.
